    This new dual-brand, 21-story hotel adds 382 new hotel rooms to Downtown Denver. About 187,000 sqft of the structure will be devoted to lodging, and a restaurant will take up another 2,600 sqft. Floors 2-6 will be parking. Midwest partnered with the Beck Group on this iconic downtown project providing the commercial interior systems package.

  • Hilton Garden Inn & Conference Center
    Location: Edmond, OK

    The 6-story hotel and conference center spurred on economic development off the Interstate 35 corridor. The 100,000 sqft 158 room hotel and 20,000 sqft conference center was a great project for Midwest Drywall Co., Inc. At the topping out ceremony, a broom was placed on the last Hollow Core Plank roof piece to signify a clean sweep. This represented no on-site injuries during the structural portion of construction.

    This 8-Story, 149,229 sqft dual brand, is right in the heart of the new Dallas Love Field District. The hotel brought new energy to Love Field lodging by offering travelers the choice of two distinct lifestyle hospitality brands with close proximity to the airport. Midwest partnered with Clark Constructors early on to provide a turnkey Load Bearing LG Panelized Wall solution to get their building up fast and under budget.

  • Aloft Hotel

    A great project for Midwest and Crossland Construction. By utilizing Midwest’s Prefab Load Bearing Light Gauge panelized walls the structure was built in record speed. See the time lapse video HERE. The 5-story, 126 guestroom hospitality project featured three large meeting rooms, modern lobby, and large public spaces for guest use on the 1st floor.

  • Embassy Suites at Arkansas State University

    The new 200 room hotel is strategically located on ASU campus. Midwest provided the commercial drywall package on the hotel, 40,000 sqft convention center and a Houlihan’s restaurant. It’s an thrilling project for Midwest to be a part of as O’Reilly Hospitality partnered with ASU to serve as a “living laboratory” for the university’s hospitality management program.

  • HALCYON, a hotel in Cherry Creek

    The 154 key hotel had 5,000 sqft of meeting and banquet space, a roof deck pool and bar, two restaurants, and retail space. The 143,433 sqft project was originally the U.S. Post Office in Cherry Creek before being transformed by BMC Investments and Sage Hospitality. Midwest helped in the interior systems package of the project that opened on schedule and on budget.

  • Hyatt Place in Woodlands

    Midwest is often asked if we can provide qualified man power for out of town projects, and this is just one of the successful projects in which we’ve done it. This particular 6-story, 142 key, hotel was brought to Midwest to provide a turnkey prefab solution to the structural light gauge studs and commercial drywall package. We provided Midwest Load Bearing LG Panelized Walls fabricated from our Wichita fabrication facility.

    Midwest is one of the leading commercial wall and ceiling subcontractors in the industry. It’s no surprise to us we were brought in on The Gaylord Texan Expansion. The resort and convention center added over 347,000 sqft of 303 luxury guestrooms and suites along with over 150,000 sqft of new meeting rooms and ballroom space.

  • Cambria Hotel & Suites

    BRP Architects designed this upscale 5-story hotel that sits in downtown Omaha providing 128 rooms. Midwest prides itself in being able to provide an interior systems package for the latest hospitality flagship in the industry. This is the 1st Cambria in Nebraska and it received LEED Gold status. This iconic hotel services nearby Fortune 500 companies including Mutual of Omaha, the headquarters of Berkshire Hathaway, Union Pacific Railroad and Kiewit Corporation.

  • Hyatt Regency
    Location: Wichita, KS

    Midwest Drywall's evolved capacity in Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS) played a major part in the economies achieved on this signature hotel project. Even as the Wichita Hyatt's foundation was being poured, we were busy building exterior panels in the shop. Just as soon as the structure's framework was complete, we installed the panels, using our own HEK scaffolding and the general contractor's crane on a swing shift. The building was almost immediately enclosed, and interior work began. Undeniably our work with EIFS leads to some remarkable savings, in time and labor alike, but also to enhanced aesthetics and to consistently excellent quality of materials (no damage from the weather). Again, our early involvement in the planning stages with full input to the design engineering process was fundamental to the economy, the fast-track scheduling, and the eventual success of the entire project.

  • Embassy Suites Hotel

    Here we completed the enclosure and all interior finishes on a very short schedule. The huge atrium that defines all Embassy hotels demanded that we build a deck to accommodate the framing and drywall on the ceiling and handrails. Then, two days after the hotel opened for business, a boiler explosion ripped through the structure. While hotel guests were still being ferried to neighboring accommodations, our crews were already at work. As a matter of fact, the call came at nine o’clock on a Friday night, and Midwest had 20 people at work within the hour. The hotel reopened the following Wednesday.

  • Westin Hotel
    Location: Westminister, CO

    Midwest Drywall did not win the initial bid on this beautiful hotel, but we persisted. We continued to sell our company and our proven abilities in the management of intense architectural detail. Soon enough we won a contract for the hotel’s metal stud, drywall, and acoustical work. Eventually, Midwest had as many as 100 people on the job. The tower rooms were finished from the top down, with our HEK scaffolding encircling the entire structure. As Midwest crews were finishing the middle floors, the owner was moving furniture into the upper floors. The Westin opened on time.

  • The Venetian Hotel & Casino
    Location: Las Vegas, NV

    This was an iconic project for Midwest to partner on. We were responsible for the buildings’ exteriors and more than 100,000 sqft of interior facades in the casino and retail areas. We provided a variety of building materials including exterior insulation & finish systems, glass-fiber reinforced concrete, marble shipped in from Italy, faux painting, plaster and plenty of drywall to complete all the theming elements.   • Cherokee Hotel & Casino
    Location: Roland, OK

    This 170,000 sqft resort-style hotel and casino is now the tallest building in this county of OK. The casino offered 850 electronic games, table games and a poker room. Midwest provided an intricate commercial interiors package featuring 120 rooms, convention space for special events and trade shows, and an amazing casino.

  • WinStar World Casino Conference Center
    Location: Thackerville, OK

    Gen. Contractor: Manhattan Construction

    This was the 2nd project Midwest has been a part of at the WinStar World Casino. However, this project won the 2016 ABC Excellence in Construction Award for $10M-$25M. Midwest provided the commercial wall and ceiling package for this new 65,000 square-foot facility. It included a grand ballroom with a seating capacity for up to 1,000 guests, a junior ballroom with seating for up to 700 people, three executive boardrooms, a pre-function spaces to host before and after events.

  • Kansas Star Hotel & Casino

    The 150-room Hampton Inn hotel and casino was great project just south of Midwest corporate headquarters. The Kansas Star Casino offers 1,750 slot machines, over 50 table games, an 8-table poker room and five great restaurants in an all-new gaming entertainment destination without equal in the region!

  • Black Hawk Casino by Hyatt
    Location: Black Hawk, CO
    Contract: $9.1M

    The Black Hawk Casino was built on the side of a mountain and at the time the largest Casino in CO. The project included two specialty restaurants; 62,000 sqft of gaming space; a 10,000 sqft retail area; and a 50,000 sqft back-of-house space.

  • Beau Rivage Resort & Casino
    Location: Biloxi, MS
    Contract: $30.5M

    This MGM Mirage Resort and Casino surpassed 3.2M sqft and reached 32-stories tall. Midwest provided the commercial drywall and ceilings package, and was additionally onsite within days after Hurricane Katrina. The Beau Rivage features 1,740 guest rooms and suites, a casino area, restaurants, lounges and bars, twelve retail venues, convention center, and more. It received the AAA Four Diamond Award, recognized as one of the top resorts in the nation.

  • Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Hotel & Casino

    Midwest was the commercial drywall subcontractor on the only casino ever built in Texas! This project included a 50,000-SF expansion/renovation of the existing casino facility and the construction of a 70,000-SF, 6-story, 250-guest room hotel. The design was inspired by its scenic location along the Rio Grande River.

  • Argosy Casino

    Argosy selected Peckham Guyton Albers & Viets Inc. as architect for the expansion and J.E. Dunn Construction as general contractor and construction manager for this $75M addition. Midwest was a proud partner in the commercial drywall and ceilings package creating a Mediterranean-themed facility and a 60,000-square-foot, one level casino that replaced Argosy's original riverboat, along with the 250 room resort style hotel.

  • KC Station Casino

    By far the biggest and most expensive of metropolitan Kansas City's five riverboat casino complexes of its time. Midwest joined with Walton/Diggs on the 730,000 Sqft casino project for commercial drywall and ceilings. The schedule wasnʼt doable for other subs, so Midwest was brought to the table as the project was required to be completed in 14 months.

    Midwest partnered again with Mortenson on the Denver Water project. This new Administration Building is 6-stories and is a part of $195.8M revitalization of its west Denver operations campus.

  • Advanced Learning Library

    Midwest has an extensive portfolio in civic projects as our team enjoys serving the public by providing pride in our workmanship. This project was no different in building an innovative modern library that has its own coffee shop, access to technology services, and modern approaches to learning.   • Ft. Hood WT Barracks

    Many subcontractors steer away from working with US Army Corp of Engineers, but Midwest embraces their high level of standards and commitment to the details. This project, amongst over a dozen other military barracks across the nation, utilized Midwest Load Bearing Light Gauge Panelized Walls. This project is special to us amongst others, because of the success our local Texas team brought by providing the rafting solution you see in the picture. Dozens of Corp Engineers were on sight taking pictures and videos by what we were able to accomplish.

  • Hutchinson Sports Arena Renovation

    For the right customer and the right project, Midwest also performs high profile renovation projects. We have several dedicated team members who specialize in the type of commercial wall and ceiling scope of work. This existing 186,000 sqft sports arena required ADA enhancements, new locker rooms, restrooms, concessions, meeting rooms, hospitality areas, 2 new practice gyms, and a large weight room.

  • Amazeum Children’s Museum

    Midwest is often asked to take on smaller projects, and our goal is to achieve complete customer satisfaction by delivering the highest quality of craftsmanship and professionalism for all Midwest projects both big and small. This 50,000 sqft children’s museum was an excellent special project to work on. Our AR team provided amazing aesthetics to the wall and ceilings for this Amazeum project.

  • Pittsburg County Courthouse Renovation

    Built in 1926, the Courthouse is a historically significant structure designed by the Architect of the Oklahoma State Capitol. Midwest provided critical wall and ceiling assistance in renovating and expanding the courthouse, while maintaining the historical importance of the project. This project also received “Top Renovation of 2010” by the Associated General Contractors of America and the Oklahoma Historical Society.

  • Ford Center Arena (Now Chesapeake Energy Arena)

    Midwest was a part of several phases of renovations to the 8-year-old sports and entertainment arena bringing it up today’s standards and putting the building up against some the best in the country. Before the 2009-2010 NBA season, it received a full face-lift to the building’s restrooms, 300-level and club concourses and other areas.

  • Fort Leonard Wood AIT Barracks

    Another successful Prefab Load Bearing LG Panelized Wall project for Midwest. This particular 5-story military barracks project was for Advanced Individual Training operations at Ft. Leonard Wood. It housed and trained up to 900 soldiers. Quality control and speed are the main reasons clients reach out to Midwest to provide a prefabricated solution to their projects.

  • Steele Creek (Mixed Use)
    Location: Denver, CO

    The new development by BMC Investments brought a 12-Story, 232-unit complex to Cherry Creek. It was described as, “Denver’s newest and most prestigious residential, shopping, and dining experience.” by BMC employees. Midwest provided crucial qualified labor for the commercial interior systems package for a 18-month construction schedule.

  • 9th St. North (Mixed Use)

    Repeatedly Midwest is contacted direct by Owners and Developers to assist them in utilizing our Prefab Load Bearing Light Gauge Super Structure. The 7-story North Project for First Management Inc, included 114 rental apartments, 11,500 sqft of commercial/retail space, and an extra 11,000 sqft of clubhouse space.

  • Midtown Crossing & Element Hotel
    Location: Omaha, NE

    Midwest followed the CIP concrete and post-tensioned structure to provide the commercial wall and ceiling package on this epic Mixed Use project. The Element Hotel was LEED Silver certified and featured a modern aesthetic pleasing atmosphere. The Midtown Crossing portion of the project featured 297 luxury condominium units; 268 luxury apartments; a 31,000-square-foot Prairie Life executive health club; upscale, five-screen movie theater; urban grocery market; 220,000 square feet of retail space for restaurants and shops.

  • JB Hunt Office Tower

    Midwest has been a part of several projects for JB Hunt, and grateful for the long standing relationship we have with the GC and their client. The 6-story office tower featured 1,000 work spaces, a new dining area, fitness center and training center for employees.

  • Cabela’s Headquarters
    Location: Sidney, NE

    Cabela’s serving the outdoor retail market since 1961. Their retail locations are known for their unique and attention to detail showrooms, wildlife forums, and education centers. Their corporate headquarters was no different. This 168,000 sqft office project was erected over 33 days, so Midwest provided extra man power to keep the project ahead of schedule.

  • TD Ameritrade Headquarters

    The new 535,000 sqft headquarters supported more than 2,000 employees, and was one of the largest LEED Platinum buildings in the nation at its time. Midwest partnered with Kiewit in providing a great scope of work including light gauge metal stud framing, drywall systems, acoustical grid and ceiling tiles, specialty ceilings, all types of thermal and acoustical insulation and more.

  • Devon Energy Tower

    The 50-Story tower, #52 tallest building in US, is just one of the many successful high-rise projects Midwest has completed. Midwest was brought in as the commercial drywall subcontractor because of our ability to Start Strong. Finish Strong. Devon tower was constructed over a period of three years starting in 2009. By the end of 2010, work was progressing on the 22nd floor and by July 2011, 45 floors were constructed. September 2011 marked the completion of the final 50th floor.

  • Kroger Grocery Stores (Multiple Locations)

    Being a part of this remarkable 24,000 seat baseball stadium was a true honor for Midwest. The TD Stadium is home to the NCAA’s College World Series and was designed to provide it’s fans with grand entrances across the park. It also provided ticket and admin offices, 26 suites, 2,400 club seat lounge, a 360-degree walk around concourse, along with many other amazing features.

  • Sight & Sound (Bible Stories Live On Stage)

    One of the largest attraction buildings in Branson, MO, the 339,000 sqft Sight and Sound Theatre provides a unique approach to sharing the Gospel of Jesus to its audience.   • Civic Center Music Hall Renovation

    This building was originally built in 1937 as an all-purpose event center. It was past time the Civic Center received a massive renovation, which ultimately led to it requiring 90% of the interior to be removed and rebuilt. The architects pushed the envelope with unique wall design and decorative ceiling elements, and Midwest was more than capable of executing the challenges given.

Midwest provides LG Metal Framing, Drywall and Finishing Services even for the most demanding and unforgiving of framing. Our hangers are talented, speedy and precise. We’re extremely skilled at working through time constraints and within and between the work of other trades waiting for them to finish.

Multifamily & Condo

  • The Coloradan Condos
    Location: Denver, CO

    The 20-Story project provided luxurious condo units ranging from affordable housing to extraordinary penthouses. In order to meet the challenging schedule, we came in early at Design Assist to provide Midwest’s Exterior Bypass Panelized Wall System. We pre-sheathed the panels, air and water barrier, and then had the glazers install the windows prior to us craning the panels up the building. After just 6-weeks from the last pour, we had the entire building dried in. Watch the video HERE.

  • Cirque High-Rise Apartments

    Strategically located right in the heart of Victory Park, neighboring the American Airlines Center, Midwest provided the commercial drywall package on this 28-story luxury apartment building. It featured 252 total residences with all the comforts of a modern upscale home. Our team members on the project were cognizant to the critical path implications of the LG Framing to keep the efficiency of other trades moving.

  • The Grand Apartments

    With a highly compressed job site, in a congested downtown area with pedestrian and vehicular traffic, Midwest provided a unique commercial drywall solution to this project. The 12-story building is brick and comprised of 508 apartments next to the contrasting 24-story tower which is glass.

  • Mayo 420 Apartments
    Location: Tulsa, OK

    The Mayo Building in downtown Tulsa was originally built in 1910. Mayo 420 opened as a residential building in 2010, and because of its over 100 year history every apartment had something different to offer artistically. Midwest helped to ensure the architect’s design of drywall finishing was one of professionalism and elegance.

  • Waterwalk Place Condos

    The 450,000 sqft condo project was a unique urban design that included 7 levels of flats, and 2 and 3-story lofts. This commercial condo project was unique in design as incorporated multiple views of the Arkansas River, the waterway and Wichita’s downtown skyline. Midwest provided a team relationship with Key Construction in planning early on, resulting in tighter construction pricing, fewer change orders, and an accurate schedule for a demanding project.

  • The Village at Northstar (Phases I, II, III)

    Midwest partnered with GE Johnson for the 3 phases of the Northstar Village Condos that spanned the course of 3 years. The total construction value reached $330M for the Village at Northstar project which revitalized a once vibrant highly-ranked ski area. The designs were very detailed inspired by the grand lodge architecture of the American West’s National Parks. It was named the first LEED Certified resort village upon its completion.

  • Grand Treviso Apartments

    These 246 Luxury Apartments tower 17-stories in the DFW Metroplex. Midwest’s worked with Turner’s pre-construction team to ensure we understood the expectations to a time sensitive project. It took a highly dedicated Midwest operations team to satisfy the requirements of the complex design and the challenging job site conditions. Due to their determination to excel on this project, they formulated a meticulous schedule of sequencing of where our scope fell within other subcontractors and vice versa.

University & Student Housing

  • HERE Student Housing at University of Kansas

    Midwest was brought in early to Design Assist this 8-story 475,000 sqft Student Housing project. We changed the original design from concrete to a prefabricated solution to the upper floors utilizing our Load Bearing Light Gauge Panelized Walls. In order to accommodate the design needs we also incorporated a C-Stud Floor System with Metal Deck. Despite weather delays, a tight schedule, and logistic challenges, the project was delivered within contractual duration which allowed the project to succeed within budget.

  • Cross Village at University of Oklahoma

    Midwest was brought to this project after it had already been designed utilizing the Prescient Structural System. While we could have saved the project a significant amount of money to utilize our Load Bearing Panelized Wall System, we knew the customer didn’t have time for a redesign. Thus, we followed behind the other structural system providing the Misc Non Load Bearing Light Gauge Framing, Drywall Systems, Ceiling Systems, and Light Gauge Roof Trusses and Deck. The overall project was 4-stories and 393,000 sqft.

  • University House & Oklahoma Christian University

    OCU needed new student residents and Midwest was there to provide a prefabricated Load Bearing Light Gauge solution to their construction needs. The overall $9.5M project provided 216 sophomore women and men beds all in 3-stories. Our team worked to understand what the clients wanted at every facet of the project.

  • Glass Hall at Missouri State University

    This MSU project won 2018 Developer of the Year award. The Glass Hall Renovation and Addition Project was a multi-phase renovation of a 4- story 150,000 sqft College of Business and the addition of the 37,000 sqft Robert Gourley Student Success Center.   • University of Arkansas Fred Smith Football Operations Center

    This 80,000 sqft facility provided new coaching staff suite with offices and conference rooms, meeting rooms for individual positions and larger group rooms for offensive, defensive, and special teams, along with a large team meeting space and a video analysis office. Midwest provided high quality interior and exterior metal stud framing, ceilings and other interior system work.

  • Texas Tech University Boston Hall Student Housing

    The 5-Story, 178,000 sqft, student housing project provided over 500 students with new rooms. Due to the hard efforts of many subcontractors, including Midwest, the entire project completed in approx. 15 months from ground breaking to the completion of the project. From interior to exterior walls, shaft walls, ceilings soffits, specialty installations, and fire and sound rated assemblies, Midwest provided quality work and production that exceeded our clients’ expectations.

  • Gaylord Family Memorial Stadium at University of Oklahoma

    Memorial Stadium has undergone several significant renovations since its initial construction in 1925 and Midwest was honored to be a part of the recent renovations from 2015-2017.   • Salina South High School

    McCownGordon Construction, as CMR, was involved throughout the entire design process of South High allowing them to customize the bid packages to maximize our involvement. This was yet another commercial drywall package for Midwest to add to its portfolio of education projects. To date Midwest has well over 300 learning education projects totaling over  education expertise spans well over 300 projects to date totally over $275M in contracts.

  • The New School

    Three different buildings brought this amazing new education learning project together. The first building is a three-story, 36,000 sqft Academic Center, featuring science labs and collaborative spaces. The second facility is a 9,000 sqft Innovation Center, which will feature the school’s tinkering studio, with spaces for robotics, wood shop and a cyber cafe common space for the students. And the third building is an 18,000 sqft Gymnasium featuring a full-court gym and mezzanine level with strength and conditioning opportunities for student athletes.

  • Ozark Junior High

    The Ozark Junior High School addition consisted of 35,000 sqft of new construction and 24,000 sqft of renovation work. Our Midwest team provided cutting-edge technology to collaborate with other trades to ensure this state of the art junior campus completed safely, on time and on budget.

  • East Joplin Middle and Elementary Schools

    Midwest was privileged to work together with Universal Construction on the new Joplin East Middle and Elementary Schools after the catastrophic E5 Tornado devastated the Joplin, Missouri area in 2011. The East Joplin MS was over 157,000 sqft and the Soaring Heights ES was 65,000 sqft. Our success in providing skilled labor to complete the metal stud framing, gypsum board assemblies, taping and finishing, and ceilings was critical to get students back into a facility that was their own.

  • Park Street Elementary School

    Construction on this new 90,000 sqft ES was on a very tight construction deadline. It featured 3 early education classrooms, 30 K-5 classrooms, special education classrooms, administration space, common areas, a gymnasium, a cafetorium, and a library and media center. With our commitment to excellence and a great working relationship our team was successful in completing the commercial drywall package on this project.

Senior Living & Assisted Living

  • Epworth Living at The Ranch
    Location: Stillwater, OK
    Contract: $4.8M
    Gen. Contractor: Weitz Construction

    Midwest provided a LB LG prefabricated wall solution for Weitz Construction along with the commercial wall and ceiling package. Our portion of the project included 48 assisted living apartments, 20 memory support suites, and 40 skilled nursing beds, while the overall project including a wood senior living portion was 380,000 sqft.

  • Tulsa Senior Living

    The new 2-story, 94,640 sqft, senior living facility included 79 assisted living suites and 32 memory care suites along with all the extra amenities. We provided prefabricated load bearing light gauge panelized walls, floor system, and light gauge roof trusses on this project. Midwest utilizing compression tables for our panelized walls to get a true seated stud connection to our track. In multi-story projects like this one, the uplift loads are extremely high, finding a prefab partner that understands these requirements is crucial when it comes to specialty engineering connections.

  • Kestrel Senior and Affordable Housing

    This unique 200,000 sqft property was a project designed to the Green Communities Criteria for sustainable buildings. It includes affordable units for seniors, individuals with special needs and families. 110 units on this 3-story building and 130 are in 14 multi-story building styles. Our commercial drywall team of experts are great at reviewing your project to identify value-engineering to help keep your project costs down.

  • Primrose Assisted Living (Christian Care Communities)

    Midwest teamed up with A-P to provide a turnkey prefabricated panelized wall solution to this assisted living project. We utilized our diagonal tension strapping, otherwise known as “X-Bracing”, and gusset plate components to provide shear walls (racking restraint) for light-gauge load- bearing framing under wind and seismic loads. Texas DADS (Department of Aging and Disability Services) projects can be very difficult, so it’s worth finding a qualified commercial drywall subcontractor, like Midwest, to make sure all your structural components and fire rated assemblies are completed correctly.

    This Independent/Assisted Living Senior Campus consisted of a 200,000 sf, 3-story building.   • Vida Mixed-Use Senior Housing

    This 7-story, Denver Housing Authority project, is one of the 1st of its kind in Denver. The development will include 176 units of senior housing, a complete health clinic, and an adult day center.   • Fellowship Bible Church

    This 4 building bible church complex connected the total 210,000 sqft buildings, while making every door a front door. 2 of the buildings were 2-story structures, and the other 2 buildings were one level with high ceilings. With Midwest’s extensive religious market background we were the right commercial wall and ceiling subcontractor for the project. In most religious facilities there are unique and complex ceilings, and Midwest is known for being an acoustical and specialty ceiling contractor that produces what the architect was imaging.

  • Falls Creek Tabernacle (Conference Center)

    The $24M tabernacle project was easily the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma’s most ambitious undertaking project ever.   • Holy Trinity Seminary Student Center

    This new 24,000 sqft center, was the first new construction in the seminary's 52-year history.   • Sheffield Family Life Center

    The 70,000 sqft worship sanctuary is located right in the heart of downtown Kansas City to aide them in feeding the homeless and continuing their local outreach ministries. The worship center was designed to meet their needs of 2,750 seats and so much more. Our team are knowledgeable to provide the creative and unique wall and ceiling solutions for any style or size of worship center.

  • Life Church
    Location: Fort Smith, AR

    The new Lift Church campus consisted of 39,000 sqft containing a 1500 seat auditorium. The drywall ceilings in the sanctuary were complex and custom designed, but right up Midwest’s alley. The large group area for children’s activities and nursery were created with a modern design of drywall clouds and other specialty ceilings. The facility also included an expansive lobby, office/administrative space, a café, lounges and meeting areas.

  • Newspring Church Addition

    This addition to the main sanctuary totaled 35,000 sqft for the Newspring congregation. The completed space features a new full service coffee shop with hearth gathering space, a new youth center and a new overflow sanctuary.   • Costco Wholesale Poultry Processing Plant

    Midwest was honored to be a part of Costco’s 1st ever poultry processing plant, hatchery and feed mill facility. Its entire supply chain from corn fed to the chickens to the finished product itself is concentrated on 100-mile radius around Fremont bringing in an estimated $1.2B in economic growth to the area.   • Nordson Medical Value Plastics Manufacturing Facility

    The single story, 115,000 sqft, Value Plastics is a medical-injection molding manufacturing and office facility.   • Siemen’s Energy Manufacturing Plant

    The over 700,000 facility is state of the art to the say the least. Robots move through storage areas and bring pods stoked with consumer products to associates where Amazon orders can be fulfilled. While the wall and drywall scope of work is very limited in projects like these, there is a highly qualified demand for performing specialty ceilings. Ceiling systems are constantly changing every year, but Midwest is on top of educating our employees from the office to the field so we can better serve our clients.

  • Tyson Foods Discovery Center
    Location: Springdale, AR
    Contract: $2.5M
    Gen. Contractor: Crossland Construction

    The center is primarily used to develop food products for Tyson Foods. The main architect, HOK Architects, designed a rain screen for the project to prevent moisture in the building. Wallshield, manuf by VaproShield, was used to achieve the desired protection. Time is taken to understand the end use of a scope of work, so we can provide and install materials that are appropriate to the required specifications.
