Careers:

Project Managers -

  • We’re always looking for quality people experienced with field operations and project management of commercial construction projects that range from small to large.  Applicants should have experience working with estimates, projections and budgets; understand contract management and administration; and be proficient with computers and related technology tools for managing construction.  Construction and related degrees are a plus, but not a requirement.  Applicants should be able to demonstrate people skills, successful project completions and productivity.  Competitive salary and benefits package is available which includes bonus opportunities, 401k, profit sharing and medical/dental insurance.  Please apply above or contact our Human Resources department to arrange for an interview at hr@mwdw.com.

Estimators -

  • As the industry grows so does Midwest and if you’re an estimator with experience with wall and ceiling commercial construction, now is a great time to partner with our company.  Candidates should have experience working with estimates, projections and budgets; understand contract management and administration; and excel with computers and related technology tools for managing construction.  This candidate will provide the highest level of customer satisfaction from estimating a project through project closeout.  Some of the duties include reading blueprints with an understanding of architectural and structural designs; project setup, oversight, completion, billing and communication with clients; ability to create strategic partnerships between our company and clients; have strong leadership skills with leading by example in the office and in the field. Internships -

Benefits:

Midwest Drywall Co., Inc. provides many benefits to its employees. These benefits may vary slightly by division office location and collective bargaining agreements status. For specific benefit application to your employment status, please contact your division manager or our corporate office.  Midwest Drywall Co., Inc. believes our employees deserve access to benefit packages that are as good, and in most cases, better than those provided by our competitors and those provided in other industries.

These basic benefits include:

401(k) Plan -
Full-time employees are eligible for participation in the company-sponsored 401(k) plan upon completion of eligibility requirement (basically 6 months employment with entry date of January 1 and July 1 of each year). Eligible employees may defer 1%-15% of their salary on a pre-tax basis. The company may make discretionary matching contributions and has committed to match 100% of each dollar contributed not to exceed and amount equaling 4% of the employee's compensation for the calendar year.

Employees under a collective bargaining agreement that provides pension benefits may participate and contribute into the plan but they will not receive any portion of company sponsored match.

Health Insurance -
Full-time employees have access to health insurance benefits subject to normal eligibility requirements. The premium is paid through pre-tax payroll deduction.  Employees under a collective bargaining agreement may not be eligible for this coverage as other health and welfare benefits are provided.

Dental Insurance -
Full-time employees have access to dental insurance benefits subject to eligibility requirements. The premium is paid through pre-tax payroll deductions.  Employees under a collective bargaining agreement may not be eligible for this coverage as other health and welfare benefits are provided.

Vision Insurance -
Full-time employees have access to vision insurance benefits subject to eligibility requirements. The premium is paid through pre-tax payroll deductions.  Employees under a collective bargaining agreement may not be eligible for this coverage as other health and welfare benefits are provided.

Health Care Flexible Spending Account -
Full-time employees may defer up to $4,000 annually through pre-tax payroll deductions to the health care flexible spending account. The employee then uses the deferred pre-tax dollars to reimburse themselves for eligible medical expenses incurred (deductibles, co-insurance, orthodontics, vision, etc.). Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account -
Full-time employees may defer up to $5,000 annually through pre-tax payroll deductions to the dependent care flexible spending account. The employee then uses the deferred pre-tax dollars to reimburse themselves for eligible dependent care expenses. For a complete list of eligible expenses, please contact the corporate office.
